Charnice Ooley Supper

What a wonderful time the 50th reunion was. This time, it seemed like more were there than ever before. I want to thank, again, the committee and the chairman, Bob Blank for all there time and effort. It can't be easy to pull this off but they did a fantastic job. What fun we all had renewing old acquaintances. I even contacted Susan Schmidt since she put her email address on the blog and we have written back and forth fast and furiously. I will put my email address on this blog if anyone wants to contact me also. What I did, so that Susan would know it was me, was to put my "maiden" name on the header so she would know it was someone she was familiar with. I have pictures that I would like to share with the blog but have not mastered that yet. Still working on the "techy" stuff. There are 6 of us "girls", for want of another word, that call ourselves the LaTeDa girls or more appropiately the DRAGGIN LADIES? We have traveled a lot together and had many a chatty slumber parties, lunches and dinners. TOO MUCH FUN...let me tell you. The Draggin Ladies consist of Pat Huntzinger Myers, Barb Laughlin Joly, Kay Watts, Probasco, Linda Horn Vikmanus, Judy Ward Sanders and me Charnice Ooley Supper. Some towns we can't go back to because we had way to much fun and aren't allowed back to....just kidding.Bob & I live in Mason, OH which is close to Kings Island. We have lived here for 36 years. Previously in Bellbrook, OH for 9 years and before that we moved back into Greenmount Village when he got out of the Army. We have 3 children. Pam is 45..loves in Oakwood and she and Dave have 2 boys. Nathan is 15 and Nick is 11 (going on 21). Rhonda is 43...married and lives in Milan, IND. close to Lawrenceburg, IND. She and Brian take in stray cats so that has become their family. Mike is 38 and just bought his first house in Dayton, OH. Both he and Pam work at NCR. Ironic how things happen. My dad worked at NCR, I worked there right out of High School and now two of my children work there...though there are few in any NCR buildings standing any longer including the auditorium from which we graduated....AH progress I guess. I worked as a school secretary herein Mason for 25 years and retired in 2003. Not sure how I ever worked...having way to much funAnyway hopefully we can get some emails floating around and keep in further touch. Thanks again for your help Doris and I hope this comes thru. Third time is a charm I guess.Take care all of you and DO KEEP IN TOUCH......Your class mate.....Charnice Ooley Supper
